The famous brewery "Bier und Porterbrauerei und Malzfabrik C. Stritzky", built in 1887 by entrepreneur Karl Christoph von Stritzky, is mentioned in all catalogs and address books of the second half of the 19th century as an important part of industrial Riga.

The wooden architecture of the building's attic was preserved in its entirety. Fragments of wooden and brick facades, non-standard window frames have been preserved in several rooms.
