The three-building complex, located next to the Ziedondarza Park, offers 85 apartments ranging from 17 to 79 sq.m. and 9 parking spaces.
As part of the renovation of the buildings, the facades will be restored, the windows will be replaced, as well as the roofing, gutters and drains. Renovation works will also be carried out inside the buildings, where new engineering networks will be built (water supply and sewerage, heating networks, wiring), and stairwells will be renovated, giving them light and a historic aura.
The buildings will be connected to the district heating supply by building new heating units, as well as new heating networks will be built, providing a heat meter with remote reading in each apartment. In the renovation of the buildings, emphasis will be placed on the staircases, where we want to preserve the historical atmosphere, restoring the railings and ash wood preserves that have survived from the moment the buildings were built, while creating a warm and cozy atmosphere with light colors. The exterior doors of the apartments on wooden doors with fire resistance class EI30 will be replaced. The painting of the walls and ceiling will also be restored. The exterior doors to the insulated metal doors have also been replaced for the stairwells. In order to ensure energy efficiency in the buildings, the windows have been replaced with PVC windows with a high coefficient of thermal resistance (U = 1.1W / m2k), and the attic insulation will be performed in the buildings. Plaster restoration and facade painting works have been carried out on the exterior walls of the buildings.
Improvement works will be performed in the territory, building a new pavement, fencing of the territory. New parents will be able to appreciate not only the benefits provided by Ziedondarz, but also the children's playground and benches, which are arranged in the yard of the complex. When repairing the yard, new covered waste container bins will be installed. Various seedlings will also be planted and landscaping will be carried out.
The apartments will be offered with a black finish, allowing the repairs to be carried out at their own discretion.
All three buildings are pre-war masonry buildings built in the early 20th century.
Renovation of the buildings and their surroundings will be completed in autumn 2022.
