The apartment building designed by architect Aleksandrs Vanags in 1907 in the national romanticism style, whose facade is still decorated with decorative details inspired by folk patterns, interacting with the courtyard's modern, industrial-style two-story apartments with their own terraces, has created this unique and original project - Augustīnes Garden.
As a single building ensemble, Augustīnes dārzs was created in 2024 according to a project by the architectural firm Sampling. During its renovation, the building regained its original image – the rough-textured beige plaster harmonizes with the dark red roof tone, and the decorative reliefs are highlighted in the dark by elegant facade lighting. The illuminated vaulted vestibule leads further into the courtyard, where the renovated workshop buildings have been redeveloped into apartments and two-story urban housing.
